Run Scripts

A RunScript is used by Ynote Classic to store external programs and execute them easily. It can be a compiler, debugger or simply an application.

Running RunScripts

The various ways to run a RunScript are - 

  • Using the RunDialog in the Tools->Run Scripts->Run Menu and specifying the script to run.
  • Using the Commander Command -> "Run:{ file.run }"

Using the RunScript Editor

A RunScript can be created / edited using the RunScript Editor.

Fields

NameThe Name of the RunScript (without extension)

ProcessThe Process to be opened

ArgumentsThe Arguments of the Process. Use $source to refer to the active document

CmdDirectoryThe Active Directory to be switched to when executing the RunScript. (Can be left Blank)

* Always press the "Save" Button after completing an Editing to save the RunScript.
